Horse Leasing
Ready to have your own Mister Ed .... or just not quite yet? Leasing a horse gives you the opportunity to experience the financial commitment of ownership without the up front cost of purchasing. If you are a parent of a horse-crazy child or you are considering ownership, leasing will give you time to decide if this is a passing phase or a serious endeavor. This program is designed to provide you and/or your child with more responsibility and to experience the routine care of a horse. Lease horses are not intended for competition level performance, but rather to help you determine if buying a horse is your next best option to continue your horsemanship goals and ideals. A full lease gives you a good opportunity to "try before you buy."
You and/or child's eligibility for a lease option is at your discretion of the lessor and/or instructor, which may include a demonstration of adequate level of horsemanship, both on the ground and in saddle. Continuing enrollment in the lesson program is required, discounted rates will apply. Length of lease is customized for each client.

Included: Board (feed and water), all supplements, worming and vaccinations, half of the cost of shoeing every 6-8 weeks, and tack. Use of horse maximum of three times each week as arranged with the lessee.
Not included:
Veterinary care due to negligence. All riders must furnish their own boots and helmets.

Lessor reserves the right to revoke lease in the event of abuse, non-payment, or misuse/unauthorized use of the horse. Rates are subject to change.
