Barrel Racing/Pole Bending
Whether you are just starting out or you already have had experience in barrel racing or pole bending, we can help you work on a better understanding of the basics of the sport. Jodi has been racing for over 15 years and is currently still competing, and loves to share her knowledge with others. Our facility has an arena for full pattern practice combined with tune-up exercises that are geared at creating balanced turns and faster patterns.
Regardless of experience, our approach is to build a solid foundation by working on the fundamentals, mechanics and conditioning of both the rider and horse. This establishes communication, consistent handling and mutual respect between rider and horse.
The primary goal is to produce riders who are knowledgeable, safety conscious, are always honing their horsemanship skills. Establishing yourself as this kind of rider will enable you to compete in gymkhanas, jackpots, high school rodeos or our fun day camps.
You are welcome to bring your own horse or ride one of the schooling horses.
