Jodi Scott grew up in the horse business. She was raised at her family’s riding stables located in Arizona and Wyoming. Since the age of 2, Jodi was raised in the saddle–-guiding trail rides, competing in rodeos, and participating in 4-H clubs. For the last 15 years she has been sharing her knowledge and love of horses through the teaching of others. Jodi has her Degree in Horse Management, and is a Certified Horseman’s Association Instructor. |
She is a member of the National Christian’s Barrel Racers Association, National Barrel Horse Association, and the Scottsdale Saddle Club. Jodi encourages her students to participate in monthly gymkhana events, and hauls the horses and equipment to support their endeavors. Jodi specializes in teaching beginning horse enthusiasts, both young and old. Her primary focus is on training riders about the safety and care of the horse including grooming, saddling, and riding. Jodi’s motto is, “Safety First, Fun Always.” She runs a full riding lesson program that ranges from beginner pleasure riders to experienced roping and barrel-racing competitors. Several kids’ camps are offered throughout the year where young children are taught everything from basic riding skills to equine anatomy. Many clients (children and adults) enjoy the chance to work at the ranch, side by side with Jodi, to gain experience with the horses. This gives them an opportunity to learn about nutrition, equine health care and stable management. |
